This was a lion pillow I made as a birthday gift for a friend of mine and have another one in the works for my son. I had 3 yards of tan polar fleece and was thinking of what to use it for, this is what I came up with. I drew a basic lion head shape. I sewed on the eyes and nose with zig-zag stitch and then stitched the mouth on. I cut out 3 different lengths of one inch wide brown polar fleece. I stuffed the ears, pinned the halves together and layered the strips onto the face. Sew it all up, stuff it, and you have yourself a lion pillow!
