Grey's Knitting
So this is a hat I have started knitting for the Grey's Anatomy knitting group I joined. Basically we are knitting something gray while we watch Grey's. I am making the Half Pipe Hat pattern that can be found in Son of a Stitch and Bitch. I have a feeling it is going to be too small for me even though I am using the same number of stitches and same size needles that I used for my last hat. It's hard to tell yet though because there is only about 2 inches done. I had bought this yarn some time ago but was contemplating what to do with it so this was a perfect reason to use it and I liked the hat. Thankfully if it doesn't fit me it should fit Nathan since his head is about and inch smaller. I love the subtle stripes this yarn makes as you go along. Also this was the first time I used a tubular cast-on. It took a bit to get the hang of in but in the end wasn't very difficult. Stay tuned for more progress.
