So I have been in a bit of a lull with the crafting lately in combination due to being extremely exhausted and insanely busy lately. I am proud to say, however, that this week I have gotten back in to crafting and have made some progress on a couple things.

First I have the back, sleeves and 3/4 of one of the front panels done of the comfy kimono I am knitting for my baby girl.

Second I started knitting a Kiddie Cadet hat for my 2 year old son. I only have about 1.5 inches done so far since I decided I need to finish knitting the kimono before my daughter arrives.

Third, I have finished the front panel for a quilt I am making my son. This has been the biggie in the progress department. Before this week it was just a pile of squares and rectangles, now the front is finished. I was going to sew the back on today before I discovered I first need to sew the batting to make it big enough. That kinda killed my momentum. This weekend I am hoping to finish the quilt and also make a matching pillowcase since I was smart enough this time to buy enough fabric!

Feels good knowing I have one quilt almost complete, now just 3 more to go! I must say it has motivated me a bit in the crafting department, unfortunately I also have to keep the house in a livable state and get things ready for the upcoming arrival. It goes without saying my time has been precious lately.
