Knitted Cat Toys

I wanted to make something for my friends cat so I googled "knitted cat toys" and found a pattern for a wonton and an eggroll. They looked cute and easy to do so I made one of each. Also it is a good way to use up left over yarn. Any worsted weight yarn will do. I thought I took a picture of the wonton but I didn't. Here are pictures of the eggroll. These patterns were found on Knitty.com and here is the link to that page.

This first picture of it after it was knit. This is layed out flat but one side is sewn up already. To finish it you sew up the other side, then stuff with catnip and poly-fil and then roll it up tightly. You would then sew the flap down securely, especially since a cat will be clawing at it. This knitted up quickly and my friend says her cat LOVES it!! Would suggest for any cat lover out there.
This is a picture of the completed eggroll.

Jasper absolutely loves her cat toys, and so far the eggroll has held up very well against her claws...the wonton is still MIA (probably hiding under the dresser again). Thanks again!
