So my newest knitting obsession of late has been wrist cuffs!! I love these because you can make one in an hour or less, they are small enough to get really creative and you can use up some of your leftover thread. You can get very ambitious with patterns or charts that take a long time but still not feel overwhelmed because the overall project is still small. They turn out as very cute wearables and you can knit up one for everyone you know. The only info you need is wrist size and gauge, then your ready to knit! The picture below is another wrist cuff I knitted for my 20 month old son in a checkered pattern.
I also decided to knit one for a friend of mine that matches the hat I had knit her. I had a very small amount of yarn leftover from the hat so I did a star on the wrist cuff. I hope she likes it. The picture below was taken during blocking, all I need to do to finish is sew the sides together.
Also worth mentioning is that I created a shop in Etsy.com. I love photography, favorite subject being my son, but I also like to take pictures of almost everything. I get a lot of compliments on them so I decided to try selling some of my favorites. Please check it out, there may be something that would go perfectly on that blank wall you have! There is also a new section I added on the left for merchandise. The only thing I have on there right now is my shop but that is simply because I just added this 2 seconds ago, more will be there son I promise!
