Chugging Along

So despite having the plague in our house I have managed to get a bit of my Holiday crafting done, though not as much as I wanted to especially with the DH being home for a few days.

I did finish the other 2 of the 4 sewing projects I had started the other day. They were very easy and I think they will come in handy, I know the one I made for my son will. I only have one sewing project left on the list and that goes with a knitted piece I finished long ago. I did just find out we are having a baby shower for 2 of the mothers in the Mom's group I am in. That is in 2 weeks so I am going to come up with something for that. One knows she's having a girls so I may do a nice girlie quilt and the other doesn't so perhaps a knitted sweater/hat set in generic color.

I also did finish up the last of the knitted projects on my list other than some smaller stocking stuffer like ones that if they don't get finished aren't a big deal. I have 2 projects already knit that need to be felted, a method that I have not done before but am very excited to try.

I am in good order to finish everything by Christmas, perhaps sooner, so I am thrilled about that. I just need to get moving on those baby shower gifts and then I can relax a little. I do have a couple other craft projects that are not knitting or sewing to complete closer to time but I don't anticipate those taking too long. Piece by piece I am chugging away at what I thought to be an endless list!!
