Jungle Chairs

So I am finally getting around to posting some of my homemade creations since most of them have been delivered.

These were a set of chairs I hand painted for a close friends twins. They had their first birthday a few weeks ago and I thought it would be nice to give her something I worked on. I thought these chairs would be easy since it's all patterns but they ended up taking about 10 hours to complete and I didn't do the zebra print on the legs and back like I had originally planned.

I must say that I was extremely pleased with how they came out, they were very cute and came out better than I expected.

Around the front legs and on the back of the chair is grass and on the seat it's various animal patterns. I made 2 of these, one for each child obviously, so there is a matching set. All that's needed is a table.

Here is a close up of the seat. From left to right it's a turtle, giraffe, tiger, and cheetah. The turtle kinda looks more like a snake but either way they are both animals.
